Biography
Tim Lautenschlaeger, MD, was named associate director for clinical research at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2025. Lautenschlaeger is a lung cancer radiation oncologist and a translational researcher. He previously served as medical director for the cancer center’s Clinical Trials Office from 2020 to 2025. He earned his MD from Philipps University Marburg, Germany, and completed radiation oncology residency at Ohio State University prior to joining IU in 2015.
